Schloss Gnadenthal stands in Kleve (Kreis Kleve), in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Gnadenthal stands in the Donsbrüggen district, a few kilometres northwest of central Kleve, set within a landscaped park surrounded by moats. The present neoclassical main house dates from alterations made in the early 19th century by the von Hoevell zu Westerflier family, built over an earlier baroque mansion commissioned by Johann Moritz von Blaspiel. The estate occupies the site of a former Augustinian canons' monastery, destroyed during the Eighty Years' War. Visitors can see the main house, the outbuildings, an 18th century orangery later reworked by Ernst Friedrich Zwirner, and six baroque garden sculptures rediscovered by chance in the 1950s and now placed near the orangery.
