To make a day of it

Schloss Braunsbach stands in Braunsbach (Landkreis Schwäbisch Hall), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.

Schloss Braunsbach stands on the site of a medieval stronghold, its nearly square layout dating from the 16th century. Albrecht von Crailsheim zu Morstein, who inherited the property in 1549, began building work in 1556 that shaped the structure seen today, completed by the early 17th century. The round tower linking the south and west wings comes from this period, while the west wing itself, which collapsed in 1847, was rebuilt one storey lower. Next to the schloss, the Protestant church of St Boniface retains Romanesque wall remnants and a notable interior, including a Renaissance altar, an early 17th century pulpit and an ornate baptismal font.
