The Pilbis-Schloss stands in Siegenburg, Bavaria, on a slight rise above the Kirchberg, close to the town's lower marketplace. The present building, with its two storeys, steep roof and bat-wing dormers, replaced a medieval castle that burned down in the 15th century. • The outbuildings, stable and the bridge over the former moat can be seen from the edges of the property without entering the grounds.
