Bodendenkmal in Mainburg, #D-2-7336-0022 stands in Mainburg (Landkreis Kelheim), in Bavaria, Germany. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Burg Lindkirchen no longer exists as a standing structure: what remains is a levelled motte, identified archaeologically rather than visible as a building. It stood near Lindkirchen, now part of Mainburg, in a low-lying area along the Abens river, once surrounded by a water-filled moat some 18 metres wide. The whole site measured roughly 65 by 50 metres, with a central platform about 10 metres across that could have carried only a small tower. Its interest lies mainly in local history, tied to the noble Lindkirchner family recorded from the 12th century until around 1180.
