The Wasserschloss Oberlauterbach stands at the heart of the village of Oberlauterbach, beside the Lauterbach stream, a tributary of the Große Laber. This four storey brick building forms an irregular quadrangle with octagonal domed turrets at its corners, enclosing an arcaded courtyard. Visitors can still make out the manor chapel, built around 1740, and the former stables on the north side. The surrounding garden forms part of this old noble residence in rural Bavaria.
