Mildenburg stands in Miltenberg (Landkreis Miltenberg), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The Mildenburg stands above the town of Miltenberg on a spur of the Greinberg, at the southern tip of the Main river's bend. Built in the 12th century under Staufer authority, it later came under the archbishops of Mainz, who used it as the seat of their local bailiffs. Its oldest surviving part is the 27-metre bossed-stone keep, while the stepped-gable residential building dates from the late 14th century. The castle now houses a museum of icons and modern art.
