Burg Rüdenberg is a ruined medieval castle overlooking the Waldach valley, near the hamlet of Unterwaldach. Built on a rocky spur where the Weiherbach stream meets the Waldach, it still shows the remains of its keep along with sections of defensive walls facing north and south. Scorch marks on the surviving beam sockets of the tower point to its destruction by fire.
