To make a day of it
Burg Rockenberg stands in Rockenberg (Wetteraukreis), in Hesse, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Burg Rockenberg sits on a small rocky spur at the edge of the old town centre of Rockenberg, in the Wetteraukreis district. Built around a residential tower dated by dendrochronology to 1317, it still retains two stretches of its high enclosure walls with round corner towers, plus a third tower standing apart. At the centre of the courtyard stands a palas resembling a residential tower. The castle now belongs to the municipality, which uses it for council meetings, weddings and local events.
