Burg Lindenfels rises above the village of Schlierbach, west of the town of Lindenfels, offering wide views over the Weschnitz valley toward the Tromm hills. This medieval ruin is among the earliest recorded strongholds in the inner Odenwald region. Visitors can still trace its nearly circular polygonal wall, built of granite and sandstone blocks, along with the remains of the three surrounding outer defensive rings.
