To make a day of it
Burg Hohenlupfen stands in Talheim (Landkreis Tuttlingen), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Burg Hohenlupfen no longer exists as a standing fortress: only remnants of a ditch and earthworks remain, atop the Lupfen, the highest peak of the Baaralb range. A lookout tower now stands roughly where the square keep once rose. The site draws visitors chiefly for its view and for its connection to the powerful counts of Lupfen, a noble Swabian family whose ancestral seat this once was. Of the original fortification, only the ground plan can still be traced in the shape of the land.
