Burg Degelstein is the ruin of a former moated castle preserved within the Lindenhof park in Lindau, on the shore of Lake Constance. What remains today are wall fragments about three metres high, part of the original entrance and ground floor. A cross-shaped keyhole loophole can still be seen in one of the walls. It is best approached as an archaeological curiosity set within a park walk rather than a monument with a visitor circuit.
