Burg Bocksberg survives as a ruin on a wooded hill above the hamlet of Bocksberg, part of the municipality of Laugna. What remains of the medieval stronghold are ditches, earthworks and the stump of a keep built from nagelfluh conglomerate blocks, the only standing masonry of any height. Since the years after the Second World War the site has doubled as a local festival ground, with wooden stalls and a stage set among the old fortifications.
