What the French Ministry of Culture records

Château du 17e siècle comprenant un grand bâtiment flanqué, à chaque extrémité, d'un pavillon en saillie. Bâti en briques et moëllons. A l'intérieur se trouve un plafond à poutres apparentes décorées de peintures. Mme de Sévigné mentionne ce château dans ses lettres. Elle y venait se reposer lorsqu'elle quittait son habitation habituelle.
