In Berzé-la-Ville, an eleventh-century Romanesque chapel holds one of the best-preserved sets of murals from Cluniac art, uncovered by chance beneath whitewash in the late nineteenth century. The apse vault displays a Christ in Majesty surrounded by apostles, commissioned around 1100 for Hugues de Semur, abbot of Cluny. The chapel stands within a sixteenth-century priory building, now known as the château des Moines.
