Standing in the Mollard district of La Ravoire, the Charmilles château rises four storeys between two square towers, topped by a three-part slate roof. Built in the 19th century by Count Léon Costa de Beauregard on the site of an older residence, the building later housed an agricultural school before being sold to a private developer. Visitors mainly take in its silhouette from the street, along with the dome marking its north-west corner.
