Built on the former site of a Celestine abbey, this château in the Aisne region was reconstructed just after the First World War, in brick and stone, at the request of Countess Consuelo de La Rochefoucauld. Architect D'Hont drew on the style of classical châteaux for this in fact recent building. Inside, the dining room and chapel still hold their original 1925 to 1930 decor. The walled grounds also include a few older outbuildings and the remains of an orangery.
