Elevé à l'emplacement d'une ancienne abbaye de Célestins, le château a été reconstruit après la Première guerre mondiale. Edifié en brique et en pierre par l'architecte D'Hont pour la famille de La Rochefoucauld, l'édifice reprend le parti des châteaux classiques. A l'intérieur, la salle à manger et la chapelle conservent un décor de style années 1925-1930. Quelques communs subsistent, en partie du 19e siècle, ainsi que le mur d'une ancienne orangerie. L'édifice se situe dans un domaine boisé clos.
