Château de Villeneuve-Loubet stands in Villeneuve-Loubet (Alpes-Maritimes), in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Standing at the top of the village, Villeneuve-Loubet castle has crowned the hillside since the 13th century, when Romée de Villeneuve had its first walls raised. The original pentagonal keep stands alongside buildings reshaped during the Renaissance, remnants of a turbulent history that saw both Charles V and Francis I pass through. Visitors walk through the park, the ramparts and the inner courtyard, in a setting where every stone recalls a different lord.
