Château de Versailleux stands in Versailleux (Ain), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
At the entrance to the village of Versailleux, in the Dombes region, stands a square keep dating from the 12th century, the last remnant of the fortified castle of the Lords of Vassalieu. The current house, built of local brick from 1814 onwards by the de Monicault family on the ruins of the medieval stronghold, replaced what the Revolution had destroyed. Bought in 2019 by a family-run group, the estate has been restored and now mainly operates as a venue for weddings and corporate events, set among the ponds typical of the area.
