Château de Verneuil stands in Charnay-lès-Mâcon (Saône-et-Loire), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
The château de Verneuil stands on flat ground east of the hamlet bearing its name, in the commune of Charnay-lès-Mâcon. It retains its main residential block flanked by two round towers pierced with arrow slits, the surviving part of a fortified quadrangle largely lost when the estate was broken up in the late 19th century. A triangular pediment added in the 18th century crowns the central bays of the façades, and a chapel from the same period stands beside the outbuildings. The groin-vaulted guard room still carries painted decoration done around 1896 by Baron Lombard de Buffières.
