Set at the foot of the northern slope of the Sainte-Victoire mountain, this Provençal fortified manor combines medieval origins with successive alterations carried out up to the 18th century. Its fame rests on Pablo Picasso, who made it his home and studio from 1958 until his death in 1973, and who is buried in front of its grand staircase. The building remains in the hands of the artist's heirs and is not open to visitors.
