The château de Thuré stands apart from the village of La Bazouge-des-Alleux, in Mayenne, forming an ensemble built around 1500 from two joined sections of living quarters. It features a corbelled turret, a corner tower, and two Renaissance-style dormer windows that remain isolated, without decorative links to the openings below. A 17th-century chapel dedicated to Saint Sebastian stands in the courtyard in front of the main building. The estate passed through a long line of lords, from the Feschal family onward, and retains the memory of an attack during the French Revolution.
