To make a day of it

Château de Saint Aubin stands in Plédéliac (Côtes-d'Armor), in the Bretagne region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

The château de Saint-Aubin stands at Plédéliac, within a large wooded estate crossed by avenues and enclosed by a park. Built in 1900 on land that had never before been built upon, it owes its existence to the surrounding forest, once used for hunting. Notable features include the orangery attached to the main house, a well with wrought-iron framework, and a hunting scene in terracotta decorating the roof ridge, made in the nearby workshops of La Poterie. The coat of arms of the Palluel family, who commissioned the building, can still be seen on the north facade.
