What the French Ministry of Culture records

Une première construction fut réalisée au milieu du 14e siècle, à l'emplacement d'un ancien village racheté par Jean de Patras en 1532. Cette construction, toujours visible, comportait un élément du corps méridional, limité par deux tours coiffées à la polonaise. En 1630, fut ajoutée l'autre partie du corps de logis méridional, ainsi que la tour d'angle sud-ouest. Dans la seconde moitié du 17e siècle, construction de l'aile en équerre, située dans le prolongement du bâtiment précédent. Vers 1880, rajout d'une quatrième tour crénelée, démolie en 1958.
