Château de Noordpeene stands in Noordpeene (Nord), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: 18th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
Surrounded by moats thirteen metres wide, this Flemish château stands on a site fortified since the late Middle Ages, within a seven-hectare park. Built in 1485 by the de la Tour family, it has kept its water-ringed outline from that period, while its main façade was rebuilt in the 18th century with two square towers and a carved pediment above the entrance. Inside, one of the reception rooms holds four paintings by Alexis Bafcop, a painter from Cassel, depicting a garden through the seasons.
