To make a day of it

Château de Mirabeau stands in Mirabeau (Vaucluse), in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The château de Mirabeau overlooks the village of the same name in the Vaucluse, on a site occupied since the 12th century. The building seen today dates mostly from the late 16th or early 17th century, when it belonged to the Riqueti family, whose most famous member was the revolutionary Honoré-Gabriel de Mirabeau. Its almost square outline, flanked by four round towers with domed roofs and a crenellated top, still recalls its original defensive purpose.
