To make a day of it

Château de Longchamp stands in 16e arrondissement de Paris (Paris), in the Île-de-France region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Set in the Bois de Boulogne, between the Longchamp racecourse and the Bagatelle gardens, this white stone pavilion is no medieval fortress, despite its tower built to look like one. The current building, finished at the end of the 1940s, replaces an earlier house commissioned by Baron Haussmann and designed by architect Gabriel Davioud for the imperial prince. Owned by the city of Paris, it now houses the GoodPlanet foundation within a three-hectare park.
