Château de Linchamps stands in Thilay (Ardennes), in the Grand Est region of France. No visits are on record for this building.
The château de Linchamps survives only as ruins perched on a rocky spur above the Semoy river, near the hamlet of Nohan, in the commune of Thilay. Built in the 16th century by Jean de Louvain, who used it to extort travellers and local villagers, it was razed and rebuilt several times before being finally destroyed in 1673 by royal order. The site, now overgrown, still shows walls, stairways cut into the rock and scattered remains stretching some 250 metres.
