Château de la Queyrelle stands in Avignon (Vaucluse), in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: second half of the 18th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.
At Montfavet, on the edge of Avignon, the Château de la Queyrelle is a country house built in the late 18th century for a silk merchant from Avignon. The plane-tree avenue leading to the property, the outbuildings and the ornamental garden form an ensemble typical of the country residences that once surrounded the city. The house also carries the memory of archaeologist Fernand Benoit, whose family acquired it in the late 19th century.
