What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le manoir de 1665 comportait un corps de logis rectangulaire à deux étages comportant chacun sept ouvertures côté sud et six côté nord. La façade nord est accostée de deux tourelles rondes autrefois percées d'archères. La façade sud est encadrée par deux avant-corps. L'intérieur a été entièrement transformé au début de ce siècle. Deux ailes d'inégale importance ont été accolées au 18e siècle. Elles sont également en brique avec un toit à la Mansard. Sur les tourelles, on note un décor de briques vernissées aux motifs de coeur et de croix de Saint-André. Bon exemple d'architecture nobiliaire rurale du 17e siècle en Thiérache. Cet édifice civil possède bon nombre d'affinités avec les églises fortifiées de Thiérache, tant au niveau de son architecture que dans son décor extérieur (corniches, motifs de briques surcuites). C'est également un élément significatif de l'architecture de brique de cette époque.
