Château de La Forest stands in Saint-Jean-de-Chevelu (Savoie), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument. The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

On a spur of the Mont du Chat, at the edge of the forests above Saint-Jean-de-Chevelu, stands a fortified house dating from the 14th century, built for the La Forest family. The building retains its quadrangular plan flanked by four corner towers and an entrance gatehouse where remains of a portcullis can still be seen. Left abandoned, it bears the scars of a partial collapse in 2007 that opened a gap in the east facade. It can only be seen from the outside today, a fragile witness to late medieval military architecture in Savoy.
