To make a day of it

Château de la Combe stands in Irigny (Rhône), in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

The château de la Combe stands at Irigny, on the outskirts of Lyon, on land once belonging to the archbishops of Lyon. Built in the early eighteenth century for Jean Pierre Croppet, lord of Irigny, it was substantially altered in the nineteenth century by the Bizouard de Montille family, who added among other things a corner tower topped with a conical roof. Television viewers may recognise its façades, which served as a filming location for the series Louis la Brocante between 1998 and 2010.
