To make a day of it

Château de l'Arrouaise stands in Oisy (Aisne), in the Hauts-de-France region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

In the hamlet of Arrouaise, in the commune of Oisy in the Thiérache region, stands a brick and slate house built in the mid 19th century to house the director of a large farming estate. Its two turrets with octagonal roofs, corbelling and cast iron ornaments bearing the monogram of the Duke of Aumale recall that this model farm long belonged to the Orléans family. Around the château the buildings of a once self sufficient agricultural settlement remain, including barns, stables and workshops.
