What the French Ministry of Culture records

Edifice caractéristique des architectures brique et pierre du début du 18e siècle construit quand Jacques François Maxime de Chastenet, marquis de Puységur en était propriétaire. Edifice composé d'un corps de logis principal avec deux ailes en retour d'équerre sur la cour d'honneur. Ailes légèrement saillantes sur le parc. Elévation à trois niveaux : soubassement à demi-enterré et deux étages. Château précédé d'une allée d'honneur plantée de tilleuls. Edifice en partie endommagé pendant la Première Guerre mondiale.
