Château de Crosville-sur-Douve stands in Crosville-sur-Douve (Manche), in the Normandie region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: second half of the 15th century, first half of the 17th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Château de Crosville-sur-Douve stands with its fifteenth-century keep and Louis XIII-era main building on the edge of the Douve marshes, in the Manche department. The Boudet family, renamed Crosville in 1365, lived there until 1742, after which the estate fell into long neglect before being restored by its present owners. Visitors cross the courtyard through a double archway gate, and the interior holds a monumental granite staircase along with painted decoration inspired by Ovid's Metamorphoses.
