To make a day of it

Château de Blaisy-Haut stands in Blaisy-Haut (Côte-d'Or), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

Perched on a rocky spur overlooking Blaisy-Bas, the château de Blaisy-Haut preserves the remains of a medieval stronghold reshaped several times up to the 18th century. Two successive courtyards can still be made out, along with a gate tower dated 1679 and traces of a Gothic chapel. Now in ruins, the site reflects eight centuries of change, from the Wars of Religion to a fire in 1751.
