What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le fief de Calletot, dépendant de la baronnie de Hallebosc, est attesté en 1164. En 1578, Michel de Baclair commence la construction du château actuel, terminée au milieu du 17e siècle. Le colombier, de plan circulaire, en brique et pierre, date de cette époque. Le château a été transformé en prison à la Révolution, puis restauré au cours de la première moitié du 19e siècle.
