To make a day of it

Château d'Oyé stands in Oyé (Saône-et-Loire), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

At the heart of the village of Oyé, close to the church it once enclosed within its walls, stand the remains of a former seigneurial stronghold. Visitors today can see a manor house dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, flanked by two round towers with conical roofs and an octagonal stair tower ending in a terrace. The windows of the main building, topped with ogee-arched lintels, and the carved coat of arms above the stair tower's doorway recall centuries of occupation by the Semur, Luzy and Breschard families.
