Château d'Olly stands in Illy (Ardennes), in the Grand Est region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The château d'Olly stands in a hamlet of the commune of Illy, in the northern Ardennes, at the meeting point of the Hatrelle and Givonne streams. Built around 1830 on the remains of an old mill, it had a long industrial past, from brickworks to a spinning mill, before becoming a private residence again. Its grounds carry the memory of two grim episodes: a Dutch field hospital in 1870 and the execution of a resistance fighter by militia in 1944, both marked by plaques visible from outside. Since 2015 two new owners have been restoring the building and recording the work on video.
