To make a day of it

Château d'Ivry stands in Ivry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne), in the Île-de-France region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

The château d'Ivry no longer stands: demolished before 1840, it once rose near what is now the rue Raspail, in Ivry-sur-Seine, within the old hamlet of Saint-Frambourg. Built around 1691 for Claude Bosc, provost of the merchants of Paris, on a square plan modelled on the château d'Issy, it later passed to the Marshal d'Uxelles and then to the Marquis de Beringhen, before becoming the residence of Marie-Adélaïde de Bourbon, who died there in 1821. Only terrace walls and the Moulin de la Tour, once attached to the estate, remain today.
