To make a day of it

Château d'Arconcey stands in Arconcey (Côte-d'Or), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

At the heart of the village of Arconcey, in the Côte-d'Or, stands a château whose history dates back to the 14th century, when the original stronghold was purchased on behalf of the Duke of Burgundy. The building seen today, however, dates only from the second half of the 18th century, built by the Jaucourt family on the remains of an earlier structure that had been altered several times. Farm outbuildings from the 17th century still stand nearby, remnants of the former estate. The regular facade with six bays, its dormer windows with scrolled sides, and its hipped roof of flat tiles give the place its character.
