What the French Ministry of Culture records

Ensemble féodal dont la fondation remonte à Guillaume Le Conquérant. Une douve ceinturait l'ensemble des bâtiments du château dont il subsiste la poterne d'entrée, une partie du corps de logis et la chapelle. Les constructions peuvent être datées des 14e et 15e siècles, avec quelques apports du 16e. La chapelle est voûtée d'ogives. Après la Révolution, une grande partie du château fut abandonnée puis détruite.
