Château Charolais stands in Paris (Paris), in the Île-de-France region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The château Charolais no longer stands: it was a residence in Paris's 9th arrondissement, built in the early eighteenth century and enlarged around 1739 for the Comte de Charolais on extensive grounds near Montmartre. It was later turned into a private detention house, and in 1777 held Sophie de Ruffey, Marquise de Monnier, known for her connection to the Comte de Mirabeau. The building was torn down in 1842, and the site is now covered by Haussmann-era apartment blocks between rue de Maubeuge, rue de Chantilly and rue de Bellefond.
