To make a day of it

Castel de la Colombière stands in Dijon (Côte-d'Or), in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. No visits are on record for this building.

On the edge of the Colombière park in Dijon stands this 17th century hunting lodge, built for Henri Jules de Bourbon-Condé, Duke of Enghien, who continued developing the park laid out by his father, the Grand Condé. Once linked to the park by a footbridge over the Ouche river, the building is known today less as a heritage site to tour than as the home, since 1948, of the Étrier de Bourgogne riding club.
