What the French Ministry of Culture records

Manoir de style éclectique auquel Gustave Clausse, architecte et historien de l'art, ajouta en 1890 une chapelle à l'antique. Au centre de la façade, un médaillon en terre cuite présente une Vierge à l'Enfant provenant de l'atelier florentin de Lucca della Robia. Les médaillons en partie basse, représentant des angelots, sont vraisemblablement des créations florentines contemporaines de la chapelle. A l'intérieur, le décor se compose de vitraux de Vantillard, bas-reliefs de terre cuite de Devers, mosaïques de Faccina. Cette chapelle constitue un témoignage exceptionnel d'architecture néo-Renaissance du 19e siècle.
