What the French Ministry of Culture records

La demeure, propriété des familles Acigné, Boterel puis Viard, se compose d’un logis, d’un parc d’un enclos avec son portail, de douves, d’une orangerie, d’une fontaine ainsi que d’une ferme. Bâti selon un plan rectangulaire, le corps de logis principal est cantonné de deux pavillons formant une saillie en façades est et ouest. Le pavillon sud est construit en pierre et recouvert d’enduit tandis que le reste du logis est en terre recouvert d’un enduit en ciment. D’apparence modeste, ce manoir est un domaine patrimonial de qualité qui n’a pas été morcelé. Il n’a subi que très peu de modifications depuis le début du 19e siècle, fait rare pour un édifice situé dans la couronne rennaise.
