The manor of Mouillemuse stands between the villages of Noyal-Châtillon-sur-Seiche and Vern-sur-Seiche, close to the Seiche river. The present building dates from the 18th century, though traces of an earlier structure go back to the 15th century. Around it, the estate still includes a park, moats, an orangery, a fountain and farm buildings, an ensemble that has changed very little since the early 19th century.
