Schloss Wittringen stands in Gladbeck (Kreis Recklinghausen), in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Wittringen is a moated Burg in Gladbeck, in the Kreis Recklinghausen, North Rhine-Westphalia. Its origins go back to the 13th century, when a knight named Ludolfus de Witteringe is believed to have built an earlier stronghold on the site. The present buildings combine a timber-framed house rebuilt to its original appearance with a brick, historicist main house from the early 20th century, marked by two heavy round corner towers. The grounds now house the Gladbeck town museum and a restaurant.
