Schloss Sulzheim stands in Sulzheim, in the Landkreis Alzey-Worms, Rhineland-Palatinate, on the site of a former fortified courtyard once belonging to Ebrach Abbey. The present baroque building, laid out in a horseshoe shape with a central pavilion and two side wings, was erected in the 1720s, after Abbot Wilhelm Sölner had the older medieval complex with its turreted enclosure wall torn down to make way for a residence befitting the era's tastes. Visitors can see the architectural forms associated with the Würzburg court architect Joseph Greissing, whose design was carried out by others following his death, as well as an older granary building put up decades earlier by Johann Leonhard Dientzenhofer. The site is listed as a Baudenkmal in Bavaria.

- Is Schloss Sulzheim connected to Balthasar Neumann?
- No, this older attribution is no longer accepted by current researchers, as the wings clearly reflect Joseph Greissing's style.
- What survives of the earlier medieval courtyard?
- Only the survey drawings made before demolition by Leonhard Dientzenhofer in the 1690s document it, including an enclosure wall with four towers that no longer exists.
