Schloss Sophiental stands in Wendeburg (Landkreis Peine), in Lower Saxony, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.

Schloss Sophiental was an 18th century pleasure residence built near Wendeburg for the dowager duchess Elisabeth Sophie Marie of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, widow of Duke August Wilhelm, close to the border of the Hochstift of Hildesheim. The complex, laid out on an octagonal plan surrounded by a moat, combined a main house with a cavalier's lodge, a dairy farm and outbuildings, and its baroque garden featured a grotto, a hermitage and a pavilion on an artificial hill. All the timber framed buildings, clad in slate, were torn down in the late 1760s after the duchess's death. No image or physical trace of the estate is known to survive.
