Schloss Sallgast stands on the site of a medieval moated castle in Sallgast, in the Landkreis Elbe-Elster, Brandenburg. Built in the 12th century, the stronghold withstood a Swedish siege during the Thirty Years' War before being rebuilt as a four-winged schloss. A restoration carried out between 1911 and 1912 to plans by architect Bodo Ebhardt gave the building its present form. The extensive surrounding park, laid out around 1880 by Robert Fedor von Loebenstein-Lohsa, is open to visitors at all times.
