Schloss Neudenau stands on a rise northeast of the old town of Neudenau, in Baden-Württemberg. What visitors see today originated as a medieval stronghold built for the lords of Dürn, later reshaped into a residence and then a school before becoming a museum. The main building, known as the Neubau, still bears the marks of the alterations carried out by the Counts of Leiningen in the nineteenth century. It now houses the Josefine Weihrauch local history museum, which occupies the entire complex.
